Information We Collect

EcoLearnAI collects the information needed to operate the service, including paid tools and optional accounts:

Usage data: Page views, session duration, and navigation patterns via anonymous analytics.
Tool inputs: Text and files you submit to AI tools are sent to our AI provider to generate a response. We do not permanently store resume or document content.
Account data (if you sign in): Signing in with Google is optional. If you use it, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google, and we store your credit balance and purchase history server-side against your account so they follow you across devices. If you don't sign in, your credit balance is stored only in your browser (localStorage) and stays on that device.
Payment data: When you buy credits or a book/PDF, payment is processed by Razorpay. We receive confirmation of a successful payment and the amount/credits purchased; we do not receive or store your card, UPI, or bank details — those are handled entirely by Razorpay.
My Work history: A record of AI tools you've run and articles/books you've unlocked, stored only in your browser (localStorage) and synced across your own open tabs. It is not sent to our servers.
Contact form submissions: Name, email, and message content if you contact us directly, processed via Formspree (see Third-Party Services below).

How We Use Information

We use collected information to provide and improve our services, process AI tool requests and payments, keep your credit balance and purchases in sync if you sign in, analyse usage patterns to improve content quality, and respond to enquiries. We do not sell your data to third parties.

Advertising

EcoLearnAI plans to display advertisements via Google AdSense; our publisher ID is registered but ad units are not live yet. Once active, AdSense may use cookies and similar technologies to serve personalised ads based on your browsing history. You can opt out of personalised advertising through Google's Ad Settings.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for site functionality and analytics cookies (Google Analytics) to understand traffic patterns. Advertising cookies will be set by Google AdSense once ad units go live. You can manage cookie preferences in your browser settings.

Third-Party Services

Anthropic (Claude): Powers our AI tools and article generation. Text and files you submit to a tool are sent to Anthropic's API to produce a response.
Firebase Authentication (Google): Powers optional Google Sign-In. Google handles authentication directly; we only receive the basic profile info described above.
Razorpay: Handles all payment processing for credits and book/PDF purchases. Payments are handled entirely by Razorpay's secure platform under their own terms.
Formspree: Processes contact form submissions and delivers them to us by email.
Google AdSense: For displaying advertisements (registered, not yet active).
Cloudflare: For hosting, CDN, and storing account/credit data (via Cloudflare Workers and KV) for signed-in users.

Data Retention

Tool inputs (resumes, documents, code) are processed in real-time and not stored on our servers beyond the session. If you sign in, your account, credit balance, and purchase history are retained until you ask us to delete them. Analytics data is retained for 26 months per Google Analytics defaults.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold, including deleting your account and its associated credit/purchase history. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.
